The Cleveland Amateur Radio Club and its ARES group are looking for volunteers to work a public service event on August 2nd and 3rd.

The event is the Cherokee Heritage Festival.
The location is Red Clay State Park in Bradley County.
The times are 9:30am to 4:00pm with shifts being 2 hrs long

The hams in Cleveland have been very good to assist Hamilton County with events. This would be a good time to return the favor.
This has the making of a fun event that after you are done volunteering, you can enjoy the Festival.

Please either contact Derek Wooley(KD5UBL) at <his call sign>@arrl.net

Or Brian Simms(K4VOM) at <his call sign>@arrl.net

You can also post to this message and we will make the connection for you.
